Beginner's Guide to First Monday, Canton

While we do have over 700,000 sq ft of covered shopping, it's a great idea to check the weather to see what the forecast will bring. On sunny days wear sunglasses and a hat to protect from the sun. Colder months call for gloves, a scarf, and a coat, and remember to always, always wear comfortable walking shoes! The great news is, if you forgot it at home… don’t worry, because you’re sure to find it here!

First Monday happens every single month on the Thursday - Sunday preceding the first Monday of the month. A great tip is to come on Thrifty Thursday or Sunday for shorter lines, better parking, first dibs on Thursday (the first day of the show) and great deals from vendors on Sundays (final day of show.)

Use the West Gate Entrance for easy access to parking, no traffic, just $5 per vehicle and a shuttle that takes you from the lot to the Famous Vendor Fields!

With over 450 acres of shopping, it’s smart to have a “plan of attack.” Different areas offer different items. Where you visit depends on what you’re searching for, you can view our maps here and in the meantime, here’s a good place to start...

  • Famous Vendor Fields - Where the shuttle in West Gate Parking lot will drop you off. Here you will find rows upon rows of antique and vintage items including literally anything and everything you can think of. From clothing and furniture to tools and handmade and handcrafted items.

  • Civic Center - This big blue building is one of our many areas of covered shopping full of antiques and collectibles. Here you might find decor, antique guns, vintage clothing, and much much more!

  • Trade Centers - Within our four trade centers, you'll find clothing, decor, food, antiques, and more. In some months, we also have events happening in Trade Center 1. Visit our event page for the latest updates on upcoming events.

  • Row 46 - Here you will find tons of beautiful home decor, both new and old! You can also find the latest fashion trends, hand painted or hand crafted items, and more!

First Monday spans across more than 400 acres, it’s impossible to see it all in one day! We have over 300 RV spots onsite! That means that for four days you can eat, sleep, and shop at First Monday! Who wouldn’t want to wake up with the World's Largest Flea Market in their backyard? Canton is a beautiful small town with several BnB’s and hotels! Check out our website for more info.
